SFPD arrests suspect in July Mission homicide
A suspect in the July 24 homicide at the 16th Street BART Plaza was arrested on Sunday, the San Francisco Police Department reported today.Luis Rebolledo, a 37-year-old male who is suspected of killing a 20-year-old Black man at the 16th Street BART Plaza in broad-daylight at around 5:30 p.m. on July 24, was arrested at Shaddick Drive in Antioch, the department said.After the July 24 shooting, the victim was taken away by an ambulance with life-threatening injuries and died from gunshot wounds in the hospital. The shooting followed a fight with a crowd of about 20 young people at the BART Plaza, Mission Local reported in July.Rebolledo was transported to San Francisco County Jail and booked at 2:59 a.m. for homicide, carrying a concealed firearm, second degree robbery, and other charges.
