如同三藩市市長競選中常見的場景，當布里德的對手們提到過去在市政方面的成就時，布里德會立即反駁：這些成就是在她的政府、她的任期內、在她的支持下完成的。
現任市長似乎不願讓步，對李維斯繼承人兼非營利組織創始人羅偉的言論尤為不滿。
「首先，我一直聽到台上的候選人說『我們做了什麼』。我們什麼都沒做。他們提到的許多人其實是與我和我的辦公室合作的，」當主持人、總部位於奧克蘭的 Unity Council 的 CEO Chris Iglesias 允許她回應對手的言論時，布里德說道。
布里德指出羅偉聲稱他是台上「唯一真正按時建造可負擔住房」的人，提到了 Bryant 街833號的145套可負擔住房，這是在 SoMa 區在羅偉的非營利組織 Tipping Point 的協助下建造的。「當時那個項目獲得批准時，羅偉甚至還不在 Tipping Point 工作。是我的辦公室，我的團隊與非營利組織合作建造的，」布里德說。

「Tipping Point 在新冠疫情期間發放了超過8000萬美元，但在疫情高峰期拉丁裔社區最困難的時候，卻沒有一分錢給予提供這類服務的拉丁裔組織，」她說。「我覺得這很耐人尋味。」
「看來今天我要不斷地反駁了，」輪到羅偉回應時他說道，不過他並沒有借此機會反駁市長的說法，而是簡單地表達了對庇護城市條例的支持。（所有候選人都表達了相同的立場。）
這次論壇是選舉季中首次聚焦拉丁裔的活動，也標誌著候選人們開始最後衝刺。民調顯示競爭激烈，布里德和麥法恩領先，羅偉有望獲得第二選擇票而後來居上，而市參事會主席佩斯金（Aaron Peskin）和第11區市參事安世輝（Ahsha Safaí）的前景則不太明朗。
迄今為止，市長競選已籌集了近2300萬美元，其中大部分流向了羅偉，他自籌600萬美元資助競選，並受益於另外600萬美元的政治行動委員會支出。布里德和麥法恩也有政治行動委員會支持，分別得到富有捐贈者230萬美元和130萬美元的支持。
在開場陳述中，佩斯金和安世輝指出了資金競賽的不平衡。
安世輝表示他將「為所有三藩市人而戰，而不僅僅是億萬富翁或億萬富翁的繼承人」，並提到了他的工會背景以及6歲時作為伊朗難民進入美國的經歷。他說經濟不平等正在「壓垮」三藩市。「我們不能只是一個分裂的城市。」

‘Like a teddy bear’: Bob Lee’s friends testify to drug use, character
Two former colleagues and friends of Cash App founder Bob Lee testified today that while the homicide victim used drugs, Lee was not aggressive or erratic. The testimony countered a narrative from his alleged killer that Lee first drew the knife that killed him.
